How long will my candle last?

Depending on the length of your burn sessions, you can expect a burn time of 50+ hours. Make sure to burn your candle long enough to melt the entire top, but do not exceed 4 hours at a time.

Why does my candle have an uneven, rough, or frosted top after burning?

We use all natural soy wax with no added chemicals or petroleum based waxes. Because of the natural properties of soy wax, you may notice an uneven top after your first burn. This is a totally normal characteristic of soy, and doesn't affect the scent or performance of you candle at all! It's a sign that your candle is 100% natural. Often, candles that are marketed as "soy" actually contain a blend of paraffin and soy waxes to create a smooth top. Paraffin wax is petroleum-based and has been shown to contain carcinogenic compounds. So, take your rough candle top as a reminder that you are safely breathing in CLEAN fragrance and maintaining good air quality in your home!

What size room will my candle fill will fragrance?

For a stronger fragrance, burn your candle in a smaller room such as a bedroom or office. For a more subtle scent, burn your candle in a larger living space up to 400 square feet.

Why do you use soy wax?

There are MANY reasons why soy wax is better than traditional paraffin! Here are a few:

1. It burns LONGER (you get more burn time out of your candle).

2. It burns CLEANER. Paraffin wax is petroleum based and releases trace amounts of carcinogenic (cancer-causing) compounds when burning. Soy wax burns completely cleanly, releasing no harmful chemicals into the air of your home.

3. It is 100% biodegradable, renewable, and supports American soybean farmers!

Basically, soy wax is much better for you, the environment, and the American economy.
