How long will be order take to ship?

Please allow one week for your order to ship. If you need your order sooner, please email us at hello@bossypantscandle.com and we will do our best to accommodate your desired delivery date!

Are your candles truly non-toxic?

Our beeswax candles are made with only 3 ingredients: beeswax, coconut oil, and cold-pressed or steam-distilled essential oils. They are not toxic (harmful or poisonous) to human health when burned properly, unless one has an allergy to one of the essential oils used in our blends.

Our soy candles are made with only the cleanest fragrance oils on the market, and exclude any and all ingredients that are known or even suspected to be harmful to human health. We market them as “low-tox” because our understanding of what ingredients are harmful is always evolving, and certain ingredients that may cause a reaction in one person may not cause any reaction in another. However, we are very confident that our soy candles are made of only the SAFEST synthetic scents on the market. It’s important to note that synthetic doesn’t always mean bad, as long as the fragrances are formulated with human health as the top priority. Are your candles safe for pets?

Short answer: yes.

You may have heard that essential oils can be harmful to your pets, and while that is certainly true for some oils and some types of animals, this mostly applies to diffusing, applying, or ingesting essential oils. The amount of essential oil that is released into the air when burning our candles is extremely small, due to the flame consuming most of the wax and oil for fuel.

However, if you’re still concerned, please feel free to consult your veterinarian about the essential oils used in your desired candle. And as a best practice, always be sure to burn your candle in a room with an open door, so that pets can leave the room if the scent is overwhelming.

How long will my candle last?

When burning no longer than 4 hours at a time and keeping the wick trimmed to ¼”, your candle should last at least 40 hours.

What size room will the scent of my candle fill?

Our Soy Clean candles will easily fill a kitchen, bedroom, or average sized living room. Our Bee Essential candles will easily fill a bathroom, small bedroom, or office (with some offering a much stronger scent than others). Depending on your desired scent strength and the size of your room, you may want to purchase multiple and try blending different scents for a unique fragrance effect!
